Finding Texo on the Streets of Egypt
I found a young cat trembling in seizures on the streets. She was weak, scared, and trying to survive amidst cold and hunger. One of her front paws was completely missing. I couldn’t leave her there, so I carried her to the clinic immediately, starting her journey to recovery.
Diagnosis and Treatment
At the clinic, we ran many tests. We discovered she had toxoplasmosis, which caused her seizures. This was the first time I had seen a cat with toxoplasmosis reaching seizure level. It was challenging, but we didn’t give up. We started a 14-day intensive treatment plan with daily injections and close monitoring.
The first days were very difficult. The seizures didn’t stop immediately, and each injection was a challenge. Her missing paw made movement harder, and she needed extra care. However, we stayed patient and consistent. Slowly, her body began to respond.
Recovery and New Life
After a few days, the treatment started to work. Her seizures gradually faded. She regained strength and energy. Texo began moving more freely. Her eyes started shining, and her playful personality appeared. Texo cat rescue story became a symbol of hope.
I decided to name her Texo, reflecting her courage and resilience. Today, Texo is a healthy, happy cat. She explores and plays in her own special way, far from the dangers of the streets.
