Haru’s Story 🌹
Haru’s journey is one of hope and resilience against the odds.
Paralyzed deaf kitten Haru was found on a rainy day, and unfortunately the roads were closed due to warnings.
The next day, he was taken to the proper clinic and treated. After the examination and X-ray, it was found that the injury was in the sacral plexus and the last vertebra had shifted, affecting the nerves. This caused paralysis, including his tail, and made him unable to relieve himself on his own.
I still don’t know if he will be able to walk fully or if any disability will remain, but I am continuing treatment and there are positive signs.
He can now feel his legs and tries to stand. Although he hasn’t succeeded yet, his attempts give hope 💛
The wound has improved and the course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory treatment is finished. He is still receiving nerve vitamins, and we help him move as a form of physical therapy.
His ability to relieve himself has slightly improved; sometimes he can do it on his own, sometimes not, but he shows a strong will to try 🐾🐾
